Weavers Community Forum is dynamic grassroots third sector voluntary community organisation established in the Weavers Ward, of Tower Hamlets since July 2010. The Forum was set up initially by a group of local people to tackle issues related to young people, poverty, deprivation, and the isolation being experienced by a marginalized part of the community. 

We are seeking to recruit X3 Youth Workers to join our team to lead on the delivery of youth provision in the northwest cluster wards of Tower Hamlets. Please read the attached JD/Person specification for these below.

Lead Youth Worker

We are seeking to recruit a part time Lead Youth Worker to join our team to lead on the delivery of youth provision in the northwest cluster wards of Tower Hamlets.

• Location: Weaver’s, Tower Hamlets
• Responsible To: Managing Director
• Responsible for: Project and Youth Workers
• Hours: 9 hours per week
• Rate of pay: £15 per hour
• Duration: 12 Months (possible extension subject to funding)

Female Youth Worker 

We are seeking to recruit a part time Female Youth Worker to join our team to deliver girls youth sessions once a week in the northwest cluster wards of Tower Hamlets.

• Location: Weaver’s, Tower Hamlets
• Responsible To: Lead Youth Worker
• Responsible for: Project and Volunteers
• Hours: Part time, 3 hours per week
• Rate of pay: £13.00 per hour
• Duration: 12 Months (possible extension subject to funding)
